So there are numerous places for shopping in Dharamshala but one of the best and perfect place is Kotwali Bazaar, a visitor can view the colour and lifestyles of the entire Dharamshala community. One can buy some of the popular items like wooden carving, woolen scarves, sweaters and Tibetan Handicrafts made of wood and bamboo. There are also the trinkets and knick-knacks, which serve well for personal use, gifts and interior decoration.

Eating place :-There are numerous restaurants and eating joints serving mouth-washing dishes. In these restaurants one can relish tasting a variety of delectable Tibetan food like Momos, Thenthuk, Thukpa and Yak butter tea. Himalaya Restaurant offers Tibetan food for all tourist that’s easy on the pocket. If one can looking for Tibetan herbal teas, French pastries then he can go Lhamo’s Croissant. Lung-Ta is another place where a visitor can enjoy the Japanese delicious food. Besides these Malabar Restaurant serves marvelous Indian dishes. Beautiful Sightseeing in Dharmshala :- Dharamsala is famous for its beautiful sights and natural sceneries. The most beautiful attracation for the visitor is The colourful temple and Gompas, which reflect the culture of Tibet. Kangra Art Museum- it includes a gallery of Kangra’s famous miniature paintings and a collection of sculptures, pottery etc. Dal lake- this lake is surrounded by high and green Deodar trees. it is situated in 11kms away from the town. Kunal Pathri- it is the another place for visitor, this place famous for its rock temples. War Memorial- this place is situated near the entry point to Dharamshala. It is famous for the memory of those warriers who fought valiantly for the honour and defence of the mother land. Near this there is a beautiful GPS College Dharamshala made in the time of British Rulers. Dharmkot -it is one of the best picinic place just 11 kms fromDharmshala,which presents a panoramic view of the Kangra valley and Dauladhar ranges.  Some other famous sights are Karari lake,  Naddi village, The Shrine of Bhagsunath, Jawalamukhi temple.
